Save the Date: March 22–24, 2012 Jenison Field House | MSU
The March Magic Hoopfest is an interactive basketball playground for children of all ages, located in historic Jenison Field House on the campus of Michigan State University. It is being held in conjunction with the MHSAA Boys Basketball Semi Finals and Finals on March 22–24. The March Magic Hoopfest includes a variety of games, basketball skill venues, historical displays and educational activities and is open to all basketball fans. This will be a fun event for those who are visiting East Lansing for the MHSAA Basketball Semi Finals and Finals as well as the entire Greater Lansing community.
The Greater Lansing Sports Authority will be on hand to assist those visitors who are in need of hotel rooms and can make reservations at the Information Booth located inside Jenison Field House.
Throughout the time that the March Magic Hoopfest is open to the public, numerous special activities will be conducted on the full sized Center Courts located inside Jenison Field House. Activities include the JumpBall Jamboree and the Learning From the Legends Youth Basketball Clinic which is free to boys & girls in fifth through eighth grade. Hundreds of volunteers from Mid-Michigan and beyond are needed to keep the March Magic Hoopfest operating.
Admission to the March Magic Hoopfest
Admission to the March Magic Hoopfest will be free to all persons who hold a ticket to the MHSAA Boys or Girls Basketball Semi-Finals or Finals. Fans who do not hold a game ticket will be admitted to the March Magic Hoopfest for the price of $2.00. All fans will be able to purchase tickets to the March Magic Hoopfest and general admission tickets to all sessions of the MHSAA Semi-Finals and Finals at the entrance to Jenison Field House.
